Bio: Gays in the Life began years ago as a project to help sharpen my writing chops. With each post and each year that passed by, the blog began to morph into something quite different and traveled a variety of creative avenues. Gays in the Life is a lifestyle blog discussing topics in marriage, relationships, life as a young professional, and adventures in living a healthier lifestyle. Enjoy! And thanks for reading, *J

  1. Ha! You’re doing an excellent job with your blog. To clarify, I just finished reading your most recent post, thinking to myself all along that your relationship with S reminds me of my sex life with my estranged husband and here I am at your about page … What you’ve written above made me smile in light of my thoughts, being as I’m a heterosexual woman. πŸ™‚
Thanks very much for the follow. πŸ™‚ I look forward to reading more of your blog, sure that I will be able to relate. πŸ˜€

    • Thank you so much! I’m glad you like what you’ve read. I really enjoy your blog as well! I’ll probably be reading through some more of yours today after I put up my next entry πŸ™‚

  2. I just discovered your blog. I like your observations and your site’s purpose. I’m following you now so I know I’ll be back here…often! Much love and naked hugs, buddy! πŸ™‚

  3. I’m old enough to remember when it was damn near impossible to write about gay or lesbian relationships without the gay or lesbian part being THE issue. I’ve been blogging about living as an American in Britain, and it’s been great to discover that I can let the relationship be the background, not the foreground. We may have a long way to go, but things really have changed.

    I like your blog.

    • I completely agree, and while I can’t go back that far, I appreciate the reminder that we’ve been at this a long time; fighting the good lgbtq fight πŸ™‚ thank you so much for reading πŸ™‚ I appreciate it!

  4. Hey! I’m picking blogs to nominate for blogger awards and I’m just now realizing you’re from Indiana…but I’m from up north (The Region)…but a soCal girl now πŸ™‚
