I’m old enough to remember when it was damn near impossible to write about gay or lesbian relationships without the gay or lesbian part being THE issue. I’ve been blogging about living as an American in Britain, and it’s been great to discover that I can let the relationship be the background, not the foreground. We may have a long way to go, but things really have changed.

I completely agree, and while I can’t go back that far, I appreciate the reminder that we’ve been at this a long time; fighting the good lgbtq fight 🙂 thank you so much for reading 🙂 I appreciate it!
